A series of exercises to improve the condition of the inflamed prostate

Physical activity is very important to maintain good health. It is also useful in the presence of some diseases, including prostatitis. Exercise for prostatitis has been shown to have a positive effect on men's condition and can reduce their need for medication. And this is not surprising, because even a set of general strengthening exercises (especially with prostatitis) can significantly strengthen the immune system, improve blood circulation and promote rapid recovery of glandular tissue.

What is a useful exercise therapy for inflammation of the prostate

With regular exercise with prostatitis, you can achieve significant improvements in many indicators. This effect of exercise therapy is due to the fact that the specially selected complex is directed against obstruction in men, which can lead to inflammatory processes in the pelvic organs. If it is too late to take measures to prevent pathological changes, there are breathing exercises for the treatment of prostatitis and exercises that include a well-developed set of physical exercises in the deep muscles of the pelvis, legs and abdomen. This scheme really heals because it works on the symptoms and fights the causes of inflammation well.

Prostatitis can be relieved from the following symptoms of the disease through physical exercise:

  • the patient is not worried about urinary retention - the active load on the deep muscles of the pelvis activates blood flow and lymph flow, which leads to a decrease in glandular swelling;
  • pain and discomfort during ejaculation due to the release of free fluid and toxins from the tissues of the gland;
  • Due to the entry of food and oxygen into the gland, its activity is normalized, which leads to the restoration of hormonal balance and affects the overall well-being of men - nervousness disappears, sleep is normalized, sexual desire is restored.

In addition, increased lymph flow initiates the process of natural protection of the prostate - therapeutic exercise increases immunity, helps to eliminate pathogenic microflora (if any) faster and reduces the severity of inflammation. In addition, the training complex inevitably affects the body of men as a whole, because it strengthens the immune system, deepens breathing and fights blood stasis.

Principles of training

According to the scheme approved by urologists, physical exercises for prostatitis should meet the following tasks:

  • stimulant - a complex of exercise therapy enhances blood flow and metabolic processes in the prostate region, leading to increased phagocytic activity;
  • therapeutic - exercise causes the regeneration of damaged tissues with a greater flow of nutrients to the glandular area;
  • recovery - a complex of exercise therapy leads to the normalization of the functions of the glandular-muscular organ in men, the production of the secretion and its release;
  • Protective - through immunity to prostatitis, local immunity is formed, which prevents the growth and reproduction of pathogenic flora.

To achieve all these goals, each exercise from prostatitis must be performed in accordance with certain standards. First, physical education for prostatitis should not be used in the acute phase, which is characterized by the appearance of pain and acute urinary retention. Second, therapeutic gymnastics should be stopped immediately if there is a noticeable discomfort during exercise. Third, exercise for prostatitis should be given enough time - at least 30 minutes a day. Fourth, for a steady improvement in the condition of men, exercises for prostatitis should be given daily time, and even one-day breaks should not be allowed.

Types of exercises for prostatitis

The following degrees can be applied to exercises for prostatitis, formed in accordance with the principle of complexity of their implementation:

  1. Simple - complex for men according to Kegel. The spine of such complexes consists of exercises for prostatitis based on latent (hidden, invisible to others) performance - compression and relaxation of the anus.
  2. Moderate difficulty - exercises that can be performed in a lying or sitting position (suitable for overweight men with a weak physical base). Such exercises for prostatitis include "scissors", "bicycle", leg swings, rolls on a gymnastic ball, hip rotation.
  3. Difficult - a complex of exercises that require the maintenance of balance, including many muscle groups at work. From this section, exercises for prostatitis include semi-squat bends, "pendulum", "bar" exercises related to breathing exercises, etc.
Therapeutic exercises for prostatitis

All the listed groups should be included in the daily complex, and only then the concept of "therapeutic" will be fully justified.

The essence of this is that in order to eliminate inflammation in the prostate gland, it is necessary to strengthen not only the pelvis (its muscular component), but also the back, abdomen, hips. An important point is the normalization of the circulatory system and the heart, which is achieved through regular exercise for prostatitis.

What exercises should be done daily

It is recommended to perform the following list of exercises for prostatitis on a daily basis to eliminate inflammation, normalize blood circulation and lymph flow, improve prostate function:

  • Narrowing of the anus according to Kegel - 50-100 times in one position in different positions (sitting, standing, lying down), 2-3 approaches per day;
  • half squats with separate knees - 5-7 squats in each set, at least two sets a day;
  • Bring the knees to the chest from a standing position (bringing the legs together) with a delay of 5 seconds - at least 6 repetitions per day, two sets;
  • from a semi-squatting position with the body slightly bent forward, stand up and spread both arms and one leg to the side - 3-5 repetitions for each leg, two sets a day;
  • lift the pelvis from the supine position by bringing the legs together and hold the breath at the top of the back arch for 5 seconds - 5-7 repetitions, 2 sets a day;
  • with your hands behind your head, from a position lying on your stomach, the closed legs are raised, then separated and held for a minute, then lowered and the breath is equalized - 2 repetitions per day, 3 sets.

In general, this complex is sufficient to normalize the condition of the prostate gland. Remember that if pain occurs, you should stop exercising for a few days and then try to repeat them.
